This place is a hidden gem!!! Classy with amazing service 10/10. The front waitress seated me pleasantly, the server/waitress also very sweet and helped me pick selections as it was my first time here. Live pianist and the entire ambience just beautiful with black artwork all around. As I came by myself I was waiting for food the bar tender came over with a warm smile to ask if I was being helped. Then a few minutes later, who I believe to be the owner Mr. Alvin himself (dressed really nicely) came to personally welcome me. Excuse me? What? How amazing! I then saw him talk to other guests as if they were friends. Food 10/10 tasty, came out within 15. Not much to say outside of it was great! I got the Mac n cheese with oxtail, cheesy grits, meatballs, and greens with turkey. I would go again & HIGHLY recommend!! This was a Saturday night-I didn’t have reservations. I was also seated right away.

Alvin & Friends was a lovely dinner experience — upscale yet cozy, with exceptional Southern Caribbean fare. The music was set at the perfect volume, adding beautifully to the warm, inviting ambiance. Opening the menu was a delightful surprise, with a digital presentation featuring vibrant, colorful photos that added to the excitement and anticipation of each dish. Meeting Alvin, the owner, was an absolute pleasure. His hospitality added such a personal touch to an already memorable evening. Seeing Alvin’s vibrant paintings displayed throughout the restaurant felt like an extension of his spirit — warm, creative, and full of life. They added an even deeper personal touch to an already memorable dining experience. Adrian, our waiter, was a true professional — attentive, polished, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for outstanding food, atmosphere, and service.

We had a wonderful experience at Alvin & Friends. We were warmly greeted by Alvin himself, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were visiting from Canada, and he took the time to tell us about the beautiful artwork that adorns the walls, which made the experience feel even more special. The food was amazing. I had the doubles and jerk chicken tacos, both of which were delicious. Our larger party also enjoyed the jerk chicken, chicken wings, seafood pasta, and the famous shrimp and grits. Everything was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. It was a wonderful array of Caribbean food, paired with great hospitality and a warm atmosphere. I would highly recommend Alvin & Friends to anyone looking for delicious food and a memorable dining experience.

I really enjoyed my time here from my waitress pleasant demeanor to the gentleman that came to the table and greeted us. I watched him cover some other patriots, food When they got up and went to the restroom without being asked to do so. That is the type of care I love to see in an establishment. Now Let's talk about the food... OMG! THE PORTIONS WERE GREAT. THE FLAVOR WAS AMAZING. WILL I RETURN AGAIN A HECK YEAH! This is the type of atmosphere and service that I appreciate and feel patriots deserve bravo! 100 Stars!

I celebrated my birthday weekend at “Alvin & Friends” with my mother, and we had an amazing experience. The service was excellent from start to finish. We started with the chicken empanadas, and Tostones followed by the seafood pasta, both were delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed a walnut brownie and my mother had the double chocolate cake. We were pleasantly surprised that the owner, Alvin, was there and personally greeted us. His warm, welcoming energy made the evening feel even more special. The food is immaculate, the atmosphere is inviting, and I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to others. Parking was also easy, I found a spot on the street not far from the restaurant.”
